  • Inform campus community members that the flu shot is being offered on campus and get them to sign up for an appointment

Requirements

  • Follow University of Alberta brand guidelines
  • Use all provided copy

Design Strategy

Bold and expressive typography is a key component to the University of Alberta visual identity. With the direct PSA style of copy I was provided, I chose to make the messaging the focus and take more of a typographical approach. I created visual hierarchy, and interest through the use of different type weights, colour, capitalization, and by using both sans-serif and slab versions of the Roboto typeface.

Multi-page Report Design

Primary AudienceS

  • Current U of A students
  • U of A senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Needs to follow U of A brand guidelines

Goal

  • Lay-out the provided content in a way that has clear hierarchy, is visually pleasing, and is easy to read

Design Strategy

Following the U of A brand guidelines, I established clear levels of hierarchy from section headers down to body text. I then created a consistent two column layout that I populated with the content.

For the cover, I wanted to create a sense of moving forward into a new state of being. I did this by dividing the "UA" graphic in half and colouring one side green and the other side in colour.
